I have had a letter declining a claim of an incident on 13th Jan 2011. The claim assessors letter states that the last routine inspection was 7th september 2010 and the normal frequency of inspections is quarterly. Does quarterly mean normal quarters ie jan-March etc? If yes that would suggest an inspection should have heppened Oct - Dec? That sadd I have been given a copy of a site history report which refers to an 'ad hoc Inspection batch' on 25th Nov 2010. is this some thing different.
I would like to know if anyone else has come across similar please.
Thanks
Quarterly means they did 4 inspections per year, one every 3 months, with the first inspection of the year done in Jan, Feb or March. So, by my reckoning the next inspection after September 2010 would have been in December.
An adhoc inspection is different to a routine inspection. It means that they have been told about something or perhaps found something themselves.
