I have just fell because of a pothole, I am registered disabled and i was coming out of my local shop and at the end of the ramp the kirb lowers, i was at this point.. when a car was coming so i stopped, paying attention to the traffic, my aim was to cross over the narrow street road to my car in where my husband was sitting waiting for me, i didnt look at my feet, so never noticed the big pot hole and when i stepped onto the road fell because of this, i skint my knee and jirked my back, but i am on medication for back problems anyway so all i needed was plasters and more paracetamol, what can i do about this thanks

Sorry to hear about your incident and everyone at potholes.co.uk wishes you a speedy recovery. Firstly, you need to report the pothole so that no-one gets injured.

Secondly, have a look at our step by step guide for advice on the initial information gathering. If you do wish to claim for injury, you will need legal advice. We do not recommend claiming by yourself for injuries.
