hit a pothole

hi, I've drove a scooter around 22.00 last night and hit the pothole.I've dent rim so badly that air went out. I had no camera on me and decided to come back next day to take pictures. Unfortunately pothole was filled already. Do I have any chance to claim for damage? I got pictures from following day, you can easily see that pothole is freshly fitted. Do council have road maintenance record?

Surely you mean "fortunately" as that suggests someone had reported it so it could be attended to.

You won't know about a claim until you have gathered some information. Have a read of our step by step guide and take it from there.
