Using Google Street Maps for claim

Hi Has anyone used Google Street maps to support a pothole damage claim?

I'm in the process of fighting a claim, that is at the first disclaimer, on google it appears to show the pot hole back in 2009, when I had my damage caused in Apr 2010.

Hi Many thanks for that info, I'll make sure just to use a link to the spot and take a picture myself - least it will show the before and after.

The good part being it shows the condition of the road before their last 'inspection', with the presence of damage to the road that should have been picked up.

My response is slightly off topic I know, but something you might want to keep in mind;

Whilst we all know how to do screen dumps, as far as I am aware, you are not allowed to print and use images from Google street map. My understanding is that you are allowed to copy the hyperlink and send that to someone, but not the actual screen image.
