A165 SCARBROUGH ROAD POTHOLE

30th June 2010

in march i hit and couldnt miss a massive pothole on the a165 heading towards bridlington.
having been on to the council they passed it on to their insurers which are leeds based.they informed me that the council had done everyting needed so that i couldnt claim against them...if anyone knows the area..the pothole was about 200 meters after a big sign heading towards brid on a165.....any ideas what to reply to insurers and is it worth carrying on with...did approx £60 of damage..

cheers

Have a read of our step by step guide for advice on how you might proceed. If you are going to ask for information as we suggest, then this must be done via the highway authority and not the insurers or loss adjuster.
