Bedforshire Council resposibility

In December 2009 my son sustained over £500 of damage to his front and back nearside alloys and required 2 new wheels and tyres as a result - the solicitors for the council have twice rejected the claim we submitted - despite the financial worry adding to my sons health at the time. Can we get any further help with this, last rejection was about 3 weeks ago now!!

"the claim WE submitted"? Your son needs to be handling the claim himself. I appreciate that you are probably trying to help, but you being involved will only serve to complicate the matter. All communication needs to be to and from him, and him alone.

If all you keep doing is resubmitting a claim based on the same argument, they will keep rejecting it as they have no grounds to reconsider it. Has he looked at our step by step guide? If not, then please ask him to do so for some tips on gathering relevant information to assess his claim and their defence.
