Have we touched a nerve

Boy oh boy, have we touched a nerve! Phew...In the month or so since we launched the site, the level of interest and response from the public merely goes to show just how emotive a subject this is for the British motorist. No-one has ever really had a collective, independent voice, but they do now and its showing. In fact, we’ve created a stir. And why not, when i pay £178 a month council tax, nearly £200 a year road fund licence, and about £1,600 a year in fuel duty, plus, plus, plus. I dont want my roads to be a 'Clear & Present Danger.' Christ, even the legend that is Trevor McDonald says it’s a “call to action” – see ITV on 30th April when they look indepth at the issue. And it wont stop there. We promise. We’ve been doing a spot of research over the past few weeks finding out what the councils are really doing, or not! The bureacratic left hand doesn’t speak to right, oh and as for any direction from the powers that be at Westminster, you can forget it. Watch this space. Feathers will be ruffled. Further oxygen to the campaign will be provided by our friends at Auto Express magazine in the next few weeks. We’ll be showing you just how easy it is to fix a pothole!
