Cinderbridge Road at the junction with Greasbrough road rotherham

by padmiesta

23 Dec 2010

I am reluctant to call it a pothole as it stretches alot further than a pothole and is several feet long where the road has corroded.
I was driving along this road and my front nearside wheel went down the hole at the centre of this corrosion and it went with an almighty bang. I am confident that this has caused some damage to my vehicle as it was fine before but now the steering is affected.

As you will see from the attached image the hole is 4 inches deep in places, 43 inches long and 18 inches wide at the point of the hole. The actual area of the corrosion is over 13 feet in length.
