Still waiting of freedom of information!

I hit a pothole on 12th November 2010, after looking at this website I put in a request for foi act info about the road.

I have since put a claim in and had my first reply rejecting the claim (from private contractors who look after the A road).

I have replied requesting further information about their inspection procedures as they said the monthly inspection took place on the 5th November only 7 days prior to my incident.

I am still waiting for the foi act request which I was supposed to receive by the 13th December 2010 in line with the 20 working days!

I have sent 3 emails requesting details of what the hold up is and when I can expect the information, I received a reply to the first apologising saying they are waiting for the information from the relevant district and they will look into it. I have had no reply to the further two emails.

Where do I stand? and what can I do to get the foi info?

My problem is that I will receive a reply from the contractors before I get the foi act details to compare the two and the claim will lapse.

If anyone can offer advice it would be much appreciated.
