by sophie01 22 Jan 2011 put in a claim for damage to my car to south ayrshire council only to recieve a letter from their insurance company to say the road is inspected at regular intervals and repaired is this why the damage to the road is still there . my claim was turned down by them on the 20th january 2011 ,and my claim went to them on 10th december 2010 .i have just came home from work having to stop on the road until it was clear to go over the other side ,to get past the damage today is saturday 22nd january by the way .i think they need to send their road inspectors to spec savers before the start the job as they must be badly sighted to miss the damage |

Did you request a freedom of information act. Are you sure they have been inspecting the road correctly? Measure the dimensions of the hole and compare it to their classification of how big it need to be before being repaired.
