4 large potholes in immediate succession

by trevorsherwood

24 Jan 2011

I was driving from Costessey toward Drayton, after the tight left hand bend there were 4 large, deep potholes. Due to the blind corner, traffic conditions and positioning of the potholes it was very difficult not to hit the potholes, as swerving either way to miss them would have resulted in a head-on collision with oncoming traffic (which of course has every right to be there) or my car in a hedge. I opted for the rather more painful option of my 19" RAYS Aluminium wheels taking the brunt, severely damaging the nearside front wheel. Not impressed, and with Nissan quoting me £1532.21 inc. VAT PER WHEEL, my wallet isn't either. If you've had a run in with the same potholes, please get in touch with me!!
