East Mascalls Lane

by milessm7895

24 Jan 2011

At the end of last week, I drove over a pothole in the triangular section of East Mascalls Lane near the junction with the B2111 (Scaynes Hill Road). This has caused damage to the passenger side wheel and steering (which is presently being further assessed by the garage 24th Jan 2011).

I took measurements of the pothole on Sunday and reported to West Sussex County Council this morning (24th Jan) - 13sm deep and 130cm long. The pot hole was co-incidentally also repaired today.

However, due to time constraints, I didn't have time to report this second pothole, within the same section of road, which is at the corner where East Mascalls lane "splits".

The repair crew must have seen this second pothole, when repairing the first, either on driving into or out of the triangular section, however they did not repair this pothole at the same time!

Let's see how long this takes to get repaired.

Photo to follow.
