VAT rip off

The government are in no hurry to fill pot holes as they are making a fortune in VAT paid by motorist for pot hole damage to their cars.

It is only a small proportion of motorists who claim compensation for damage to their cars. So even if they paid out all the claims presented in full they are unlikely to ever get anywhere near the amount which is being raked in on VAT on pot hole repairs to cars.

We should all lobby our MPs and MSP to have pot hole damage to cars zero rated.
