by alberto 03 Mar 2011 June 11th 2010, walking along path (I use walking stick R/side 4 support) when placing weight on my stick as I arrived at the particular spot of the subsidence / - depression / pothole which was covered by debris, on meeting no resistance to my stick I overbalanced and fell forerwards which resulted in Me suffering KO and a dislocated right shoulder. Having made a claim against the Council,(LAMBETH) has replied that as I use a stick I must have obviously just lost my balance and simply fell over and it is nothing to do with condition of the public path , 4 which I know that the Authoritys (Parks dept) is responsable for it's safe maintenance. I am still persuing 4 damages and to date after 9 months the path has still not been made safe, are they waiting for a visually impaired person to fall and then say that they should have noticed the danger????? Sorry I don't know how to upload fotos. |
