Chain of Potholes,Upavon Way, Carterton

by Dodgem

04 Mar 2011

A new sport of pothole dodging has broken out on Upavon Way in Carterton - cars weaving along a trecherous stretch of potholes in either direction is becoming the norm. So many potholes cause the unwary driver to be mesmerised so much so that it is only a matter of time that someone will run into the back of stationary traffic at the traffic lights. There are over 20 potholes - never mind one! All at least 2 inches deep and nearly feet across.

Meandering traffic and pothole-doging could be a new sport for the 2012 Olympics. Only an hour's drive from London and no financial outlay required! Sir Chris Hoy could lead the way but should have his wits about him to avoid injury!

The council workers were applauded by when they turned up some time back to resurface the road - only to resurface the cross in the middle of the traffic roads, where there were no potholes. Madness and a complete waste of tax-payer's money!

Come on West Oxfordshire Council, (yes, our dear Prime Minister's very own constituency) sort this out before someone crashes into a driver weaving into the middle of the road and gets hurt!
