B2102 Mayfield Flat breeding pot-holes

by Captain

22 Mar 2011

Pot-holes have littered this mile long "B" road all winter.
They were reported to the council, and after a month SOME were filled in, others were left to get worse.
The particular one I'm reporting is adjacent to a larger one (about 9 foot long and 3/4 inch deep) that was filled in leaving a similar one NOT filled in but only about a foot away from the larger one. This pot-hole remains UNFILLED and cars move across the centre-line to aviod the hole - which is a safety hazard in itself.
I've reported these pot-holes to the local council time and again and my local Cllr has inspected them too - the council have half done the job - the same as they half done the resurfacing of the mile long road, leaving the eastern end (half a mile) like an African back-road. It's a disgrace.
