Council Employee (The Police) Inspect Roads Daily

by IanRoss

06 Apr 2011

Of the £1350 I pay in Council Tax £161.48p goes to the local Police.
The Police are paid by central gov and local gov.

When requesting under the Freedom of Information for the inspection process also ask how many reports from Police Officers have the Council received about your pothole.

The Police are Council Employees as well as Crown Employees and have a duty under the protection of life and property (their two primary duties) to report potholes to their employer the Council.

So when the question is asked "How often does the Council inspect its roads then surely the answer is DAILY by the Police" A few pictures of passing Police Cars will be evidentially benificial to your claim.

Also when a Council report at the start of their financial year they intend NOT to repair certain roads, make a note of it as it is evidential in future claims.

We Brits are classic at not complaining, its our nature but unless we do the gov both local and central will keep taking our money under threat of imprisionment and fine whilst failing to provide the services we pay for.

Police are council employees! I think you might want to check that out in a bit more detail as it changed at least 10 years ago.
