Sunken road surface |

by jettabout 06 Jun 2011 This pothole or sunken surface is on a diversion route due to ongoing roadworks. It had been a 1.5m x 0.5m trench that was back filled and tarred over but has subsequently sunk to a depth of 150mm with a sharp edge on one side. On Wednesday 01-06-11 I hit this hole at about 20mph and the resultant damage to the tyre has required a replacement due to a side wall bulge. The tracking was also knocked out and the steering wheel is now approx. 30mm out of line. Photos were taken and todate (06-06) the hole is still unfilled. |
Pothole location
151-153 Poplin St, Glasgow, Glasgow City G40 4, UK
Status
Unfilled
