Moor Lane, Loughborough Pot Holes

by GarethWells

11 Aug 2011

Today I was delivering leaflets advertising bus routes in loughborough on behalf of Leicestershire County Council and I parked on Little Moor Lane. The natural route home for me was via Moor Lane to get to Great Central Road, although had I known the road was in a shocking condition I would not have opted to travel on Moor Lane. This stretch of road is filled with pot holes, often stretching across the entire width of the road making it impossible to avoid in a car. Unfortunately I have "sport" suspension on my car, and does not cope with speed bumps and potholes well. In first gear I managed to damage my exhaust and it was obvious that this stretch of road was to blame as when I reached the junction it felt as if my car had lost half of it's horse power and the engine warning light was on.

Pothole location
Moor Ln, Loughborough, Leicestershire LE11 1, UK
