Alumwell Road Junction,A454 Wolverhampton Road,Walsall

Due to the roadworks on the dual carraigeway approaching the traffic lights on the Wolverhampton road and Alumwell Road junction,you are diverted to the nearside lane only,where due to the torrential rain the pothole becomes invisible as it obviously was filled with water hiding its true depth and size.It is difficult to avoid as you only have the one lane to be in and your attention is drawn to the approaching junction and lights.Therefore as I found even at a slow spedd it was big enough to cause a blow out on my front nearside tyre,which actually ruptured needing a replacement of course!
