Roadworks have left a terrible mess |

by RBuck 06 Dec 2011 There were recently very disruptive roadworks where Priest Hill joins Hemdean Road - these lasted and age and I'm not sure what the purpose was as now they have left and the road is far worse than it was previously! Please send someone out to fix this as it is a joke. Anyone with any pride in their work would have seen that the road surface was being left in a terrible state. What a waste of time heading back to a road which already had been "worked on" (I never saw anyone there!) to set up and do the job again. |

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the works in Hemdean Road. These works were for essential Gas maintainence. I have made a site visit and I can confirm that the reinstatements are in a good condition and require no further attention at this current time.rnRegardsrnHighwaysrnReading Borough Council
