pot hole caused massive bang and suddern loss of steering.
pulled over to inspect to find flat tyre. while i was trying to inflate tyre i went to look at pot hole and while walking toward it somebody had also pulled over and was looking over their car due to the same pot hole!
the pot hole was very big, but being dark and wet i could not take a good picture it looked at least 3 inchs to top of the puddle of water inside hole!
there is a sharp flat edge facing oncoming traffic and it is situated on the end of a speed bump the flat edge is equivalent of going into a kerb.

while i was there instantally i reported it to the police and to their merit they came before i had even finished changing the tyre to put a cone out!

even after changing tyre the car did run but there was banging and clanking and didnt drive right. pulled in at home and found wheel is closer to back of car than the other!! so something not right there!

photos are going to be taken tomorrow (christmas day) of hole and added and forwarded to council!
hope i can get my cost of repairs back as this has damaged tyre, wheel and sent back the wheel further to back of car than the other side! and i now have no car over christmas!
