A708 Pothole

by OchAye

08 Jan 2012

I was out for a drive with a group of friends. One car had already suffered two punctures after hitting a rock projecting from the surface of the tarmac on the apex of a corner on the road between Talla and Megget reservoirs.

We were on the A708. The lead car had overtaken a slower car and I was preparing to overtake when I hit a pothole about 1 foot off the centre line of the road (a former poor repair which had broken up and come out), puncturing the inner sidewall of my tyre.
