five ways roundabout

by eskimonell

09 Jan 2012

I hit this pothole and saw no immediate damage. Got to our destination close by and left the car for and hour or so. Came back to one rear tyre near flat, one front tyre lost some air. Pumped them up and seemed ok. Going South on the M40 2 days later the rear tye blew out and shreded. Took the wheel off and saw the damage to the inside rim of the wheel from the pothole. Got back to destination South, had a look at the front wheel and saw similar damage. lucky that didn,t blow out also. Looks like a bill of around £600 but I'm still alive.
