by conkerstwo 01 Jun 2009 The potholes on this busy trunk road appeared at the end of the winter and were temporarily filled. Since then the filling has been pushed out into a ridge next to the hole. HGVs crash and bang 24/7 causing disturbance and vibration to the houses which line both sides of the road. The intervention of the local press after a complaint by a resident made the Highways dept paint yelow marks adjacent to the holes. That was over a month ago and the lines are disappearing and the holes are increasing. Emails to Highways are ignored. |
