A5111 on approach to clock garage de11 8dg

My daughter was travelling toward the toll gate island on the A5111 road towards Ashby-De-La-Zouch. About 500 yards from the Toll Gate roundabout she noticed a pot hole around a drain, and unable to straddle the white line she hit the pot hole and immediately the tyre on the passenger side deflated and she had to pull up at the Kwik-fit garage forecourt on the toll gate island. I then had to travel to change the wheel and tyre and sure enough the wheel was very badly damaged.

I then photographed the damaged tyre and wheel. I photographed the pot hole and whilst stood aside it, other vehicles hit the pot hole with an almighty bang. Thus I am reporting this hazard to road users.

A m otorcyclist will be in serious trouble if they hit this pot hole.
