Village st pothole

My wife travels to work on village st everyday hitting the pothole most times as its impossible to aviod. The left wheel takes a hard knock. Recently the car has started to make a knocking noise, I had it checked and was told its the left side wishbone bush which is damaged. The noise has got worse as I have not had the work done yet. As I also sometimes use that route to see my mum on peartree crescent. I have today realised what has caused the damage to my wife's car. She travels to work six days a week the left wheel takes a knock everyday. Due to this the car has suffered this damage which I'm not happy about and would cost a lot to sort out and if the pothole is not fixed it will happen again.
