I was riding my brand new scooter/ moped proceeding East - from Langdon Hills towards Basildon town centre on the Mandeville Way on Sunday evening at about 8-30pm, when my front wheel hit the rather large pot hole at this roundabout. The pot hole is approximately 2.5 ft x 1.5 ft and some 6 to 8 inches deep. This caused me to lose control and subsequently crash my scooter causing me to fall off hurting my back and arm due to the sudden impact with the highway My scooter is now in for repair at and has been initially estimated to have approximately £1000 worth of damage. I am also nursing a several bruises and a grazed back and arms. |
