White Hill

After proceeding down white hill at about 4.30pm on the 30/12/09 into chesham town centre, my car hit the water filled pot hole towards the centre of the road causing both wheels on the drivers side to shudder violently. After driving through chesham towards amersham i pulled into a garage to check my tyres. My front tyre had imediately deflated, which i then proceeded to use the garage's airline to inflate the tyre. After getting the tyre to inflate, the air was escaping from the top side of the tyre where the hole had caused the tyre to split. Next to the garage was a central tyre depot who were still open, therefore i had the tyre checked and subsequently replaced due to the damage caused. Whilst waiting for this a family travelling to didcot came into the tyre depot and asked to have two tyres replaced on the drivers side of their VW Passat as they had just hit a pot hole, which turned out to be the same one on white hill
