B6118 Highgate Lane - Near Huddersfield - Pothole Minefield

This stretch of roads must be one of the worst I have seen. It's bad enough at the best of times - narrow, bumpy, poorly sighted, carrying lots of heavy traffic (buses, tractors, lots of trucks which use the nearby quarry) - but since the big freeze a couple of weeks ago it's turned into a complete minefield. There are at least a dozen serious potholes over about a 1/2 stretch in both directions, giving you the choice of wrecking your vehicle in the holes or risking a head-on with a truck avoiding them. Kirklees Council needs to address this entire stretch of road before there's a serious accident there.
