Broken speed humps

by Mary Heath

25 Jan 2010

The majority of speed humps since the snowy weather are once again starting to disintigrate on the off side. This is leaving sharp edges which cause unseen damage to the inner walls of tyres. To avoid this smaller cars in particular are having to 'bump' over them, thus probably causing other damage to suspension etc.
If this inner wall damage to tyres continues it can lead to blow outs (obvious safety concern) and unnecessary expense of tyre or wheel damage.

Pothole location
Rowtree Rd, Wootton, Northamptonshire NN4 0, UK
