Newbury M4 Junction 13

Driving in the dark and rain on Friday morning at about 06:15 I did not see the pothole I hit which caused the car to jolt violently but managed to keep control and in lane. Was able to drive on to the hard shoulder safely near a bridge. Got my suit soaked whilst changing the wheel very difficult as there were no street lamps and I only had a torch. The M4 is full of potholes especially near Newbury. I how have to wait at least until Wednesday until the garage can receive a replacement allow wheel total cost for tyre and wheel £185.96 even after phoning around! So as you can imagine I am not best pleased!
