LArge wide and deep wheel eater

Oh well..here goes about 1000 miles of red tape i guess..

Driving to Luton airport one morning to collect the relatives, heading from Ruislip, i took my normal route through Rickmansworth and Chorleywood. I have done this route many many times. Heading down Chorleywood Road just before Kingfisher Lure i felt an enormous crash and thud as i hit what can only be described as a trench. My fillings rattled and the car made some awful sounds. Upon a quick look i have completely empied my tyre of air so i swapped it out for the spare, the damage to the wheel itself makes it beyond repair! All i can hope for is that i can claim for this.Luckily no one was hurt. I hope that other users are now aware of this very dangerous spot.
