Road full of Potholes

by Claira42

06 Apr 2007

Recently, and I believe due to the bad weather we have been experiencing, like one week warm, the next week minus temperatures I have become to notice that a certain road in Corringham, namely Springhouse Road with the juctions of Gordon Road and Giffards Cross Road, of which is a major bus route, has become totally potholed.
The whole middle area where the supossid white lines are painted have now dissapeared due to the deteration.
The worst part is from Gordon Road, outside the Veterniary building towards Giffards Cross where there is an intersection with Goldsmith's Avenue. That whole area is littered with potholes and well overdue for resurfacing. When I am next there I shall get photographic evidence of which I shall present to Thurrock Council who deal with our streets etc.
My car has on many occassions dropped and lifted up over these bumps causing me to swerve over the white lines into the opposite traffic heading around the corner towards Giffards Cross.
This is a bus route and I am surprised that no-one has raised these potholes and the damage to this road to the local council. Needless to say, I shall be making my point on this road.
