Jumping and skipping

I am aware of a number of potholes in the area. In fact the track leading (that is maintained privately by residents) to our properties from the road is in better condition than the main road itself. I understand that the potholes will become a permanent feature as a speed calming measure and in any event attempts by Mr McAdam and his men to resurface the road and repair the potholes have failed. Instead of going on holiday this year I thought we might have a driving holiday in England as it would be like travelling in a third world country without the heat and dust!!!
I skipped over a puddle on the sidewalk last night only to be soaked by a car hitting a pothole full of rainwater.
