Monday 22nd February was the start of my new job at Verizon in Reading. I live in Leighton Buzzard, so its a long trek there every day.
I hit a large pothole in the snow (so it was impossible to see it), travelling at well below the speed limit.
The A418 is an extremely busy road and to ensure that I caused the minimum disruption to traffic, I slowly crawled to a halt at a bus stop, but this was not wide enough and about 20% of the car was left on the road, meaning I had to endure an hour of lorries passing me within inches of the car at high speeds. This was very disconcerting and caused me much stress.
