Deep Pothole

Driving along Rook Lane at night, there is no lighting and no footpaths. Came round the corner, with a car coming in the opposite direction. Saw the pothole, but no room to swerve and avoid. Went straight in and instantly knew I had burst a tyre....pulled over. The car behind me also hit the pothole. They pulled over to discover 2 burst tyres!. Another man had aready burst a tyre and was parked further up changing his tyre. I called the AA who were very quick. As they were fixing my tyre another car hit the pothole and burst two tyres. That is 4 cars in 45 minutes. Who knows how many over the course of the evening. The AA man said he had practically moved into Rook lane due to the amount of burst tyres he was having to deal with that with on that stretch of road.
