Southend success

by woodsy

03 Mar 2010

Over the last few weeks, a number of roads in Southend have begun to break up quite badly. One that I pass every day was becoming extremely bad, with deep holes and aggregate laying on the road surface. I logged onto the Southend council website and found an area to report potholes. Not really expecting any success, I entered the details and submitted the info. A couple of days later, I was amazed to find that the road had been patch repaired! While it could do with a complete resurface in time, at least the potholes have now been filled and the road swept to remove the loose stones.

That's what I like to hear - links to most council's pothole reporting pages can be found in "council contact details" under "how to claim", alternatively if you log a pothole on potholes.co.uk the relevant council automatically recieves an email reporting the pothole.
