New evidence in St Helens Council case

by totallyeddible

24 Apr 2007

New evidence has come to light which I can hopefully use in my case tomorrow against St Helens Council as I now have photographic proof there was a pothole on a road requiring a 3 monthly check for defects on 19 Jan 2007 and it was still there (and bigger) on 20 April 2007.

This proves that St Helens Council are breaching Section 58 of The Highways Act 1980.

I am nervous about going to court tomorrow but I am determind. The solicitor for the council has tried her best to bamboozle me with technical phrases but I wont give in as what has happened is not right.

I have two photo shoots today so it is encouraging this is generating some media coverage about my case.

Fingers crossed I will win as if I dont I will be liable for the councils legal costs! Yikkessss!
