A6 Allestree, Derbys |
|
|
by Nick 30 Apr 2007 Road works have recently been completed to a stretch of the A6 at Allestree, near Derby. The new resurfaced road is a wonderful change from the previous uneven surface but the contractors have managed to leave 2 potholes. I guess they are about 200 x 150mm in area and about 75mm deep but they are right on the line taken by cyclists. The annoying bit is that one of the holes is at the junction of the new and old carriageway and it must have been obvious to the contractors and any inspector acting for the council; so much so that I didn't report it earlier because I had assumed it would be picked up when the road was snagged. |
