My girlfriend was driving her Lexus IS200 up Netherne Lane, Coulsdon in Surrey when she fell into one of the many potholes along the lane. Due to the rain that was sitting in the pothole she was unable to avoid driving straight into it, immediately causing the tyres on the passenger side to puncture. Firstly replacements for the exact tyres that were on the car cost £270. Now she is finding that the car is pulling to the left all the time meaning that something else needs to be done to the car in order to rectify this problem. What I can't understand is why are we paying so much for road tax if there not using the money to build proper roads. The weather is adverse in countries such as Russia but I’m sure they do not have problems such as this.
