Large tyre buster

I hit this pothole on the mini-roundabout at around 9pm. As it was dark there was no way I could see it. I was on the way from Holmfirth to Newcastle and, when on the AI noticed a very severe wheel wobble,

TheBridgestone front tyres were just one week old. After a few miles, theO/S/F tyre deflated and I swerved onto the hard shoulder, there was a massive split in the sidewall of the tyre.

Long story, but being messed about by the AA and driving on a spacesaver tyre, I crawled into bed at 2.30am!
