Great North Road A1 - Sandy - Adj Texaco

by alanpa

31 Mar 2010

Pulled off of the A1 into the short road leading to the entrance to the petrol filling station and due to the amount of rain that had fallen the pothole was full of water there was no clue that a pothole there.
Accidental drove into pothole which tore the side wall on my front driver tyre (less than 24 hour on the car).
Other drivers were having the same sort of issues as someones front bumper got caught and came away from the car.
Petrol filling station state that they reported it a few days before and got told that there were more important roads to do. Typical Central Bedfordshire Council.

Pothole location
A1, Sandy, Central Bedfordshire SG19 1, UK
Status
Unfilled
