Pothole damage to vehicle

Hello,
Pothole has become a hazard to the public and to vehicle owners.

It is roughly 30 inches in length and 5 inches deep.

Also, next to the pothole is a water drain which is blocked, this has been blocked for some time, again this needs to be fixed as water gathers at the junction. This will invetuably cause vehicle/pedestrians accident - water can get as deep as half a foot.


More importantly, I have sustained damages to 2 vehicles and I have to use the Sandy Meade, Sandy Lane junction daily; meaning I have to drive over the damaged road.

I would like to know if I can get reimburse for any damage caused to vehicles (damaged tyres, suspension and other costs for replacing tracking etc..) from council.
