by JohnP 11 May 2010 Hit this and the air bag alarm light lit up. It is impossible to look in 5 directions at once and miss deep small holes like this. It was several miles before it was safe to check tyres. Mind you - do a couple of miles an hour over the speed limit and you could help pay for the repair. That's wishfull thinking. |

Potholes on an A road such as this need to be fixed as soon as possible to prevent more people ending up in your unfortunate circumstance - have you reported it to your council? They are also required to be fixed within a short time period. It is only when they have been reported and noted but not fixed that the council begins to be liable for damages caused. When you report it monitor how long it takes the council to respond to your notification.
