by dazman 25 May 2010 hit a pot hole on dec 23 2009 sliced open tyre wall reported filled in the claim form and waited . chased up claim no recored , then after well over 10 phone calls to report it again again and again guess what still not repaired finaly report was found nearly six months down the line , sent to the insurance peeps , get letter back saying was inspected dec 23 2010 yes 2010 hmmmmmm time machine maybe , then goes on to say no fault there then says repaired jan 2010 errr no still there and has been until may 18 when it finaly gets repaired after well over 20 phone calls 3 emails i get a letter back saying well no chance ur not getting ur money back hmmmmmm and we wonder why we pay road tax ???? |

Have you taken a look at our process? If things are as you suggest then the council are probably liable for your damages, it certainly sounds like they are operating incorrectly. Go to our "How to claim" page then visit the "Step by step guide" and see where you could start. The first thing i would suggest is an FOI request for the road to see when exactly it has been inspected and repaired.
