On the westbound carriageway of the A4251 through Bourne End, between the turnings for Pouchen End Lane and Sharpes Lane there are a series of potholes.
Each one is at least a foot in length and one runs for almost fifteen feet. They vary in depth and severity of edge, most being a nuisance to a car and very uncomfortable for a bicycle.

The eastbound carriageway is also affected with potholes, though not so many as on the westbound side.
