Croydon Council's pothole

by Annema

07 Jun 2010

My car was damaged due to driving over a large pothole on 2nd March 2010, but when I sent photographs of the pothole and the damage to my car along with receipts for the repair to my car, Croydon Council sent me an inspection report saying that the potholes had been inspected in February and they were not going to pay, which infuriated me, if the pothole had been repaired properly with the correct materials how would the pothole have re-appeared within a month. so I contacted the local newspaper to try to shame the council into a refund, so far to no avail, but fortunately the newspaper are still persueing it, so let's hope they have more success than I.

Pothole location
Featherbed Ln, Croydon, Greater London CR0 9, UK
