They Paid Out :)

by aidank 06 Jul 2010 Many thanks to Potholes .co.uk For helping me claim for damage to 2 of my BMW 6 Series wheels which cost me £857.50 .I received a cheque today having followed you guidance on how to claim which was just great and fairly simple to follow and I must say that I was not holding my breath but you know sometimes you are surprised !!!!.Well done Potholes Many Thanks without you I would have been well out of pocket . Keep up the good work.:>)

Brilliant..and I'm asking the same question as Dempster. I need a new tyre but need it ASAP as i'm on my spare so I guess I'll have to pay up front for that as i doubt the council, in question, wil even have read the email by Monday so....but I will keep perservering!

Hi I hit the potholes and went and had the car checked and found that I had to buy the wheels as they were cracked and dangerous so it wasn't an issue to me.rnI came across this site and thought why not claim so glad that I did.rnIf you DON'T purchase the wheels then I doubt if they will pay ,who is to know that you would'nt replace the wheels and not claim again and again!!!!rnwheels are the major part of the car and insurance companies may not pay out if a claim was submitted and it was shown to be a faulty wheel ?worth thinking about and is your life or any one else's worth a few quid?

Did they pay out up front, or did you have to buy the replacement parts first, and then submit your invoices?
